The Value of Our Coaches Course
All of our member clubs are mandated to have at least one coach per team that has taken our coaches course to receive their coaches license.
At the Swiss Cheer Association, we believe that sustainable sporting success is built on qualified leadership. For this reason, every member team is required to have at least one coach who has successfully completed our nationally recognised Coaches Course. This standard ensures consistency, professionalism, and athlete safety across our federation.
Our course emphasises athlete-centred coaching, ethical responsibility, safeguarding, and structured season planning. Coaches are equipped not only with technical knowledge, but with the leadership skills required to create positive, high-performance environments grounded in duty of care. By prioritizing long-term athlete development, risk management, and professional standards, we strengthen both performance outcomes and athlete wellbeing.
