Event Manager
Remote
The Events Manager is responsible for the planning, coordination, delivery, and evaluation of official federation events, including national championships, competitions, training events, and education sessions.
This role ensures that all events are professionally organised, financially responsible, athlete-centred, and aligned with the federation’s strategic goals, safeguarding standards, sport regulations, and operational requirements. The Events Manager works closely with the federation Executive Director, committees, clubs, coaches, judges, volunteers, venues, suppliers, sponsors, and external partners.
Responsibilities
- Lead planning and operation of events
- Coordinate venue, equipment, staff
- Prepare and manage event budgets
- Negotiate and build our procurement list
- Prepare risk management plans for large events
Must Have
- Technical training with proven event experience
- Passion for sport
- Intercultural Working experience
- Highly creative and autonomous
- Valid work permit for Switzerland (at least a B permit)
Nice to have
- Experience working with multiple departments
- Additional languages
- Accounting experience
- Strong analytical skills
